Uh... this thing on?

I really need to get back to doing things in this text box. Fabulous, wonderful things... like writing.

I have a saved post that I began working on at the end of March, filled with nougat-y goodness and rich caramel, and I have my notes for it right next to me, but for as much as I thought about the material--big, wordly thoughts inspired by me sitting around in the apartment all day--I haven't really been able to get into it. I can't always concentrate too long on very much these days, what with keeping myself somewhat tense and stressed about the job search (and the economy), but getting back into writing could help that.

Here's hoping inspiration hits soon. For now, two five-item lists:

I. Good things I've made in the kitchen lately:

1. Flan
2. Strawberry-Sour Cream Ice Cream
3. Tonkatsu with SE Asian-marinated pork leg cuts
4. Chicken Saltimbocca
5. Pecan Tarts

II. Things that are keeping my sanity level:

1. The cats
2. Social time (in live, digital, and telephonic forms)
3. Regular sleep
4. Bicycling

5. Summer fruits (this week's selection: plum varieties)

Seriously, somebody give me a topic to cover before I start rambling about the poor A.I. in EA games... I'm academically institutionalized: I do well with assignments. Especially if you provide a structure and a deadline.

Here's to a bright future:

Just when I was wondering if I ought to still be looking here...

Alright, because I want to read more of what you write, and I've heard and borne witness to the EA AI problem already:

Your assignment, should you choose to accept it is this:

Write in approximately 15,000 words or less, in language understandable to laymen, what political strategy / strategery you think this country should pursue visa vis trying to fix our now clearly broken economy. If you deny our economy is struggling, despite personal rights to believe whatever you want, you fail.

It is acceptable and expected that "things will get worse before they get better". Your goal is to avoid the situation currently going on in Zimbabwe, who just introduced a $100 billion note to their currency system to combat inflation, as lunch currently costs about $550 million Z. dollars.

Go.
